  • How much notice do I need to give for a booking?
You can book your castle at any time, but as some dates get busy we advise you to book early to avoid disappointment. Our castles are available 7 days a week all year round including bank holidays.

  • What do the prices include?
The castle hires include local delivery charge, (a delivery charge may be incurred for further distances, this would be agreed at time of booking) set up and collection. We will provide blower, extension cable, crash mats and all the safety information that you will need for your hire.

  • How do I pay for my hire?
Most people pay by cash on delivery of the bouncy castle, we can also accept cheque but this is required prior to the hire date to allow sufficient time for the cheque to clear. Sorry we do not accept Credit/Debit Card.

  • Do you require a deposit for the hire?
We do not require a deposit for your hire.

  • Do you hire overnight?
We can hire the castles overnight but there will be an extra charge which can be arranged when booking. You would be responsible for the safekeeping of our inflatable and other equipment.

  • Can you do indoor and outdoor events?
Yes, our bouncy castles can be used indoor or outdoor. For outdoor hire grass is the preferred surface and we will not set up on tarmac or stones for safety to the users and safety of the castle. Castles cannot be set up on slopes so a flat surface is required; we also ask that the area be clean from debris, garden furniture etc.

  • What do I as the hirer need to provide?
A 3 pin 13 amp socket (regular household plug) to plug the extension cable into.

There must be a minimum of 4ft at the front and back of the castle and 2ft of either side of the castle for safety and access reasons.

Yes, Reef Lodge Bouncy Castles carries £1 million pounds in full Public Liability Insurance, all documents can be provided on request.

  • Can you provide a supervisor for the bouncy castle hire?
We can supply someone to supervise the castle during your hire if we have someone available on the day, this would be charged at an hourly rate on top of the hire charge. All bouncy castles would need to be supervised by an adult during the hire, but this is normally done by the hirer or another adult who is present.

  • What if I need to cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking at anytime and will not be charged unless you decide to cancel once we have arrived to deliver the castle, this would result in you paying the full hire charge.

  • What if the weather turns bad?
In light wind and rain the castles will be ok as they have shower covers. If the weather turns to heavy wind and rain, the castles cannot be used due to safety reasons. If the weather is bad before us delivering we will try and contact the hirer and see if they would still like to go ahead with the hire.

  • What happens if the castle starts to deflate?
Everyone would need to get off the castle immediately. Then unplug the extension cable, Telephone us and let us know. Do not attempt to fix or repair the castle or equipment.

  • Can we turn off the blower when the castle is not in use?
You can turn the blower off by unplugging it from the socket, please make sure no one is on the castle when you turn it off. To re-inflate the castle simply turn the plug on and your bouncy castle will be back up and ready in about 5-10 mins.
